About.
Photographer & Visual Storyteller | Jakarta ⇄ Tokyo
Hi, I’m Resky, or some might know me as THE 1993. I’m a photographer, creative producer, and SNS specialist. I began my creative journey in Jakarta, and over time, I had the chance to work and grow in Tokyo. That experience not only shaped my visual style but also deepened the way I understand people, culture, and emotion.
From 2012 to 2015, I worked as a photographer for Dentsu Indonesia’s JKT48 creative team, and from 2016 to 2022, I was a visual producer at Japanesestation.com, a leading media platform focusing on Japanese pop and lifestyle culture. In 2023, I also collaborated with MOCA (Museum of Crypto Art) in a Web3-based metaverse exhibition for a project titled “Project Coordinate.”
I collaborate with both local and international brands, including Konami, Nissin, Onitsuka Tiger, Garuda Indonesia, The Japan Foundation, and more, creating visuals that feel honest, emotional, and human, whether through still photography or motion. What keeps me going is simple: telling stories that connect, the kind that help us reflect on who we are, where we’ve been, and what we’ve felt. I’m currently based in Jakarta, but always open to wherever the next story takes me.
